We reached Neel'g Gap in Georgia.  By the way, if you don't already know, Georgia DOES have mountains.  Will post again soon.

Time to go

Well the time is finally here.  Leave out of cookeville in just over 8 hours. Just want to say thanks to everyone for all their support. Thanks to my mom for once again helping us make some last minute gear changes and creating new bags for us. To all my friends at Bud and my customers I am looking forward to comming back and sharing all the stories with you guys. I hope that everyone has a great summer and keep checking back here we will have it updated as much as possible. Its going to be an amazing trip!

Last minute things... Apprehension sucks. I want to leave. I will miss everyone but at least when I get back I will have new things to say. I hope lol I can't wait. See all of you when I get back. I will ask how often you checked this so check it... please.

One week

Well we are getting very close, Aaron and I are getting the last things in order. Just got our food bags (thanks to mom for making them and our trail pants). all that is left is to finalize our mail drops and food plans. under seven days can not wait.

Getting ready by waiting... It sucks but its good to make sure that everything is done. one more week then on a long car ride followed by an even longer walk.. Sounds like fun.

We went on a training hike this weekend at Big South Fork. It was a good hike to make sure everything was ok. Almost there 13 days.

Home

Well we just got our tent, or should i say our home for the next 4 months.  22 days till we leave, still trying to get everything in place, will be great to finally be hiking and out in the woods.
